There is a new settings on macOS Catalina (the most updated macOS). You must allow screen sharing before being able to provide screen sharing options.
Example: MS Teams
To fix this, go to your System Preferences > Security and Privacy > Privacy > Screen Recording > Check off the appropriate application (MS Teams, Webex, and/or Browser options, e.g., Chrome, Firefox, or Edge Chromium) to allow screen sharing within that application.
